Lady Banks’ Rose

13 May

My classmate found a hand-made Japanese paper in the gallery. She called it donut shaped paper.
It was first time for me to paint the circle paper with the hole in the center.  It took me long time to compose the picture.
I chose the yellow rose,” Lady Banks’ rose” in the garden.  The orange high right of the vase brought out the flavor of the spring.
I added the three bottles behind.  I hope the blue and the green made the paper sharp.  This picture was beloved by Yukie. M from Alabama and now it kept in her house.
